Some conversions require more than one step, such as changing kilometers per hour to meters per second. These problems use multiple conversion factors, with units canceling at each step. The process is the same as in single-step conversions, but it includes more than one factor. If the starting value is measured, the final answer should be rounded to the correct number of significant figures.
